Fringe photography

I’m a well kent face across the festivals, working with some of the biggest venues, producers and PRs in Edinburgh. I photograph shows of every size and shape, from solo performances with 35 seats up to fully staged musicals in the Pleasance Grand.

Posters

Key art and campaign images, shot before the run so they’re ready for the programme, flyers and socials. I can work in the studio, or in a striking location.

Over the years I have worked with some brilliant designers. I’m always happy to point you their way, and to work with them to turn a great concept into a poster you’ll be proud to see around the city.

Productions

Your tech slot is precious, but even fifteen minutes of it set aside for photography can land you the images you need in time for the first reviews.

If there’s no room in your tech, I can shoot a performance silently, without disturbing the audience.

Press

In August, the papers are hungry for photos that tell the story of the world’s largest arts festival taking over the city.

I’ll work with your PR to come up with a photocall that gets picked up, then turn the images round in hours, ready to send to the press and use on your own channels.

What it costs

Poster and campaign shoots are quoted per project, so tell me about the show and I’ll come back with a price.

I’m especially keen to work with early-career artists and companies from underrepresented groups. If you love the look of my work but your budget is tight, get in touch and we’ll find something that works.
